Julie Zhan is a Chinese American actress, filmmaker, and dancer.

Though she stands at a daunting 5’1¾”, her laugh can be heard from at least a mile away.

Most recently, Zhan starred in a sci-fi pilot that premiered at SXSW. Her other films have premiered at Slamdance, Tribeca, and Cinequest. On the small screen, Zhan can be seen on Walker: Independence, NCIS: Los Angeles, The Resident, 9-1-1, Mr. Mayor. She is also an alumna of the Disney Television Discovers: Talent Showcase.

In the digital and streaming sphere, Zhan’s on and off-camera work has been viewed over 150 million times (Amazon Prime, Wong Fu, Smosh, Fullscreen). Her role on Eko’s Wizard School Dropout made her one of the first actors to ever be in a fully interactive series.

As a filmmaker, Zhan co-directed, wrote and starred in Zoetic, a multi-generational/cultural exploration of love, which received an HBO Visionaries award.

Zhan has a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in engineering, a decade+ background in dance, and is currently kicking ass in Wushu.
